Goa Getaway- A gift to my BFF

Goa Getaway- A gift to my BFF

DIL CHAHTA HAI has given all of us some major friendship goals and all reasons to take a trip to Goa with our best friends. My High-School Best Friend-Ayushi (still continues to be) recently told me that she has never seen the beaches. I was shook to know that! and how come I never knew. So I instantly promised her to take her to her first beach trip.

It's been almost 6 yrs in a row that I visit Goa each year, so I pretty much know about the hep places and sights to see. But as it was Ayushi's first time in Goa I wanted to make sure to give her the unforgettable experience. There were places I have been to a lot of times before but I was still excited to visit again just to see her reaction. It was all very exciting for me to be a guide in Guide.

Other thing that made our trip super comforting was this beautiful AirBnB property at jaw-dropping price. It is a duplex apartment near Coco Beach, with shared pool. There are two floors: the first floor has a single bed with living area, second floor has a double bed with extra bedding option. On top was a private terrace that overlooks farms and tall coconut trees. The apartment was a great find as it also became our after-party lodge. It was very cutely decorated with old-charm things and vintage crockery. It is also an ideal place to stay for families or couples. Main beaches like Candolim and Baga were 10-20mins drive away.

Following is the short list of places I picked for her:

Clubbing: Cabana, LPK

Shacks: Brittos, Curlies, Fishermen's cove, Plantin Leaf (vegetarian), La Plage

Beaches: Arambol, Morjim, Ashwem, Vagator, Anjuna, Candolim and Baga

Sightseeing: Fort Aguada, Anjuna Saturday night market, Basilica of Bom Jesus Church- UNESCO heritage site
