An experiential stay at Neemrana Hill Fort, Kesroli Alwar
If you are staying in the capital and you feel this beautiful monsoon should not be wasted in the Delhi traffic. We tell you where to head on for an amazing weekend getaway with open farms and peacocks around you.
Neemrana Group of Hotels preserves a historic look and feel to their properties that take you back in time. It is at the 3-4hrs drive from Delhi on NH8, the highway drive is smooth and clear, the last 1-2hrs drive from Bhiwadi onwards goes through villages of Alwar and has a scenic view of farms and Aravali Hills but the speed-breakers can give you little pain.
The Hill Fort-Kesroli Alwar is a 14th-century fort and is claimed as one of the oldest heritage sites for a stay. It is built on top of a small hill from where you can enjoy the view of wide spread farms all around you and no traffic to disturb. The horn-stone breccia rocks, small Mughal gardens, vintage lamps, and walkways make you feel, living like the royal Mughals. It is perfect for a family and couple stay cation. The room tariff starts from 3k and goes up to 10k. Hill Fort has all kinds of room occupancy options from 1-4beds. We stayed in the Naruka Burj with 1 double and 2 single beds, the catch of this room is that it has a secret lawn attached to it from where you can enjoy a pleasant sunset or can have your little private party.
Activities at Hill Fort:
excursions can be arranged to Alwar,
PS: Don’t Forget to keep your comfortable shoes, swimsuits, and hat.
When and How?
