Roadtrip to Rishikesh - Escaping into the Ganges
Rishikesh is the destination that comes first in our mind when we talk about a road trip near Delhi. It's just 230km away and in 6 to 7 hours we reached Haridwar.
‘I’m chronicling my road trip adventure for CEAT Tyres in association with BlogAdda‘.
Also, CEAT Tyres are well suited for these roads.
I have been to Rishikesh so many times and I won’t mind traveling there again for escaping into calmness, away from the city rush. And the fact that it's just so convenient to reach there.

WHERE TO STAY IN RISHIKESH:
I stayed at Mount Valley Mama Cottage in Tapovan. The owner of the place, popularly known as “Mama” cooks delicious food. Just let her know your preference, Veg or Nonveg and she will get you a delicious “Thali” with a lot of variety.
BEST TIME TO VISIT RISHIKESH:
As it is a holy place it stays crowded on all the major Hindu festivals like Shivratri, Mahashivratri, kumbh, etc. So you can visit this place any time of the year for different experiences.
